| Stopping for a subway snack |
After Ben and I returned from our run at Olympic Park, we planned to go to Itaewon. The kids remember shopping at Itaewon during our last trip and wanted to return. During our last trip, we made several stops at Itaewon as I bought a custom made suit from a tailor in that area. So we got everything together and headed to the subway. During one of our transfers, we smelled some wonderful bakery smells and stopped to get everyone a snack. Once we arrived at Itaewon, the kids went into shopping mode. Alex found a toy he liked at every store but finally setttled on a transformer bus. Ian and Cami found some souvenirs for friends. We stopped at the McDonalds for a lunch/snack. Ben had a craving for chicken nuggets and Cami likes the bulgogi burger. We rarely eat at McDonalds in the US, but that was our second stop in Korea. While it's fun to travel, sometimes a familiar place and taste provide comfort to the body and soul.
Once we got back, we finished up getting ready to the leave the guest house. Everyone was excited to see the Nam family.
