Update

After 2 weeks of lost paperwork and still nothing in the NVC, we did get some good news today.  Actually a package. We received a DVD of short videos of baby Alex.  He is so amazing.  He has a smile that lights up a room.  He is definitely moving, nothing stopping him from getting to what he wants.  We also received an update about health.  He had a sore in between his fingers that became infected and he needed to go to the hospital.  Thankfully a prescription took away the infection away and they say he is healing well.

We are getting more anxious to travel.  We are praying, and ask for your prayers, that the people involved in the paperwork process things quickly.  We pray that we can meet our son soon! It is a long, hard wait. I love this child, my child. I am so blessed that God has chosen this precious little boy to be a part of our family.

As I read a devotion this morning, I am reminded that we are all chosen and all loved.

I am already chosen. Already loved.

1 Thessalonians 1:4 nails it. "For we know, brothers and sisters, loved by God, that he has chosen you." (NIV) We are loved by God. He's already picked us.
