Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
When I think of November, I think of Thanksgiving. Last year during the month of November, I, along with many of my friends, took the month to post something we were thankful for each day on Facebook. It may seem silly, but I love reading the posts from everyone, plus I love taking that time and remembering all of the amazing things God has blessed me with. I encourage you to take time each day to give thanks to God for the wonderful things in your life. Sometimes life seems hard and things are not going my way, but thinking of at least one thing makes everything seem so much better. The wait for each step of the adoption process has been hard. I do not have the gift of patience, but with each day that goes by, I continue to ask God for peace in my heart knowing that although I would like to have my son NOW, that He really knows what is best for our child and what is best for us. How thankful I am for that!
Right now our file is in Korea and I am anxiously waiting to call Washington DC to find out when our son's picture posts in their computer along with his Visa Interview date. Once the Visa Interview takes place, we can wait for the phone to ring and hear that we can go get our son!
O Give Thanks to the Lord For He is Good and His Love Endures Forever!
